- Jerald Andrews
Jerald is the founder of the firm and is a practising attorney with 10years experience post qualification.
Originally from Ladismith in the beautiful Little Karoo, he moved to Cape Town to complete his studies at the University of the Western Cape where he graduated with the degree Baccalaureus Legum (LLB.)
He volunteered during his vacations- and later completed his articles at a well-known medium size law firm in Bellville, where he gained experience in both the firm’s litigation- and conveyancing departments. He then moved to a Corporate Firm in Durbanville as Legal Advisor and took control of the firm’s Civil- and Labour Litigation portfolio.
He was then recruited by South Africa’s largest Labour Consultancy and Employer’s Organization and represented various corporate companies across the Western Cape at all major Bargaining Councils and the CCMA. Some of these clients for whom he provided labour law assistance include JSE listed companies such as KayDav Group Limited, locally known as Davidson’s Discount Boards as well as Almex Aluminium Distributors, an affiliate of Remgro Limited.
Jerald then moved to Botha Pretorius Attorneys in Brackenfell and managed the firm’s litigation department. Jerald successfully assisted many clients with all types of litigation matters over the years. His experience at the firm ranged from general Litigation (civil and criminal), Labour Law, Administrative, Public Policy and Regulatory Law as well as Collections.
Jerald represented Grootkraal Primary School during 2011 and 2012 when the Western Cape Education Department unlawfully attempted to close the school and merge it with another school. Grootkraal went to court and successfully interdicted the WCED, with a cost order, from closing them or merging them with another school. During 2012, Jerald also represented 18 other schools across the Western Cape who faced closure. Again he successfully, and with a cost order, interdicted the WCED from closing these schools. The matter is currently before the Constitutional Court. The schools remains open and learning and teaching continue while the matter is being finalised.
It is clear that Jerald is striving in the fields of Administrative and Constitutional Law:

Jerald, who is known as a militant and skilled litigant is involved in both Magistrate’s and High court litigation, debt collections and criminal law and is currently enrolled for his Master’s degree (LL.M), with specialization in Labour- and Commercial Law.
He is also a qualified Auctioneer and continues to be a proud Stormers supporter.
- Conrad Laskey
Conrad has been a Professional Assistant at the firm since its inception and specializes in Conveyancing and Property Law related matters, Wills, Estates & Trusts and registration of Mortgage Bonds.
Growing up in Welgemoed, he graduated from Stellenbosch University with the degrees BA and LL.B and then moved on to complete his articles at a well-known medium size law firm in Bellville.
After admission as attorney in 1996, Conrad joined another well-known medium size law firm in Parow, before moving to a number of other firms around the Bellville area, where he practised as a professional assistant, initially in the litigation department and later as a conveyancer in the conveyancing department.
Conrad is an experienced Attorney, Notary Public and Conveyancer with right of Appearance in the High Court.
- Our Office Manager
The position is affirmative and the voice of the company.
This specific employee, Anneline Kemp, also completed her studies at the University of the Western Cape where she graduated with the degree Baccalaureus Administration (B.Admin). Her duties are to manage the office and attend to matters / instructions received from Management and/or clients. Functions also include basic bookkeeping to keep records updated daily.
